our first product is a range of incredibly detailed 3D models of bones to help in your teaching. Simply download the ones you want, load them up in our purpose-built viewer, and away you go!
We teach skeletal anatomy, and we know how difficult it can be, especially in front of a large audience. Not anymore! Dactyl will allow you to bring up the bone you are talking about, and whizz the model around in full 3D, showing your students all of the key morphological, or pathological features. Zoom in and out, rotate all around the bone, and use the handy torchlight to highlight interesting textural features (hello woven bone!).
“As a teaching aid I think the software is incredibly beneficial” – Evelyn Haywood, BSc Natural Sciences, Durham University.
Yes, Dactyl is great for teachers and lecturers, but it’s also a valuable tool for you students too. You can’t take the real material home with you, but you can take these back to your place to help with your studies (or revision for those nasty spotter tests…). Now you can revise in your PJs – talk about living the dream!
Buy whichever models you want now, and add new ones as you go. Dactyl works on iPads beautifully, and an Android version is in the works – so you can literally take it anywhere!
